13U Team Outscores Opponents 60-0 En-Route To President's Day Championship

13U USSSA President's Day Classic Champions (2015)

The 13U group started the 2015 season the way they finished 2014, as champions again. Not only did they go 4-0 for the weekend, they out scored their opponents 60-0! (Last 8 games 8-0, outscoring opponents 134-3)

To go along with the great run support, the pitching staff dominated on the mound only giving up 4 hits in 4 games and the defense was spectacular making ZERO errors. It was an outstanding group effort all the way around. Rocky Sizemore set the tone in the first game, throwing 2 strong innings on the mound and hitting a 3 run home run. The Golden Era squad didn't look back from there.

Some brief weekend highlights include great pitching from Jordan Webb. The 13U teams lead-off hitter, Ryan Mooar, who for the weekend led off each game with a hit as well as pitched 3 strong innings in the semifinal game and Zion Michael who came in looking in mid-season form getting 7 hits, 3 of which were triples.

Every player on the team though had an outstanding weekend. Congratulations 13U! What a great start and GO GE 2015
