SPOTLIGHT ATHLETE 'BLAKE SMITH'
Blake Smith was a fixture this off-season in our Indoor Training Facility, hitting as much if not more on his own than any player within the Program.
That hard work Blake put in this off-season is already starting to pay dividends, as he started off the 2015 season on fire in the USSSA President's Day Classic, being a big part in helping the 12U team reach the Championship.
All tolled, Blake had several big at bats where he delivered, knocking in 5 runs, while also playing a solid left field.
Lead Program Coach, Derek Bell added, "It's very gratifying to see a player put in the time, work hard and see the positive results to show for it. There were many times this off-season that Blake was the only one that came down on a given night and would hit. I'm very happy for him"
