HOW TO JOIN THE GOLDEN ERA PROGRAM...

Currently we have LIMITED openings for our Summer of 2012 Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior & Senior Teams.

Roster spots to our players are offered by invitation only through one of our small group workouts or personally from one of our coaches.

We will be holding open workouts for any player who would like to play within our program beginning in November of 2011.

Rather than holding one large try-out our players are selected from one of our small group workouts we will be offering. We will be holding these workouts until are rosters are full.

For more information and to come out to a workout please contact us at (800) 331-8752 or send us an email.

When sending an email please include the players name, graduation year, school, position(s), age and phone number.

Mitchell Page

My son played on Golden Era's 18U Club team and I was able to see many games over the summer while putting together my major league organizational hitting manual.

It was great to see how the program and workouts were run. The practices were planned out to the minute and reminded me a lot of spring training where players spend the majority of their time working on their individual skills but also consisting of positive team building and teaching of the game of baseball.

I was pleased and impressed. It was exactly what I envisioned from a program for my son. I saw that there's a plan within the program to help every single player, a vision on how they could end up being and what it'd take to excel.

Derek as well as all of the Golden Era coaches do everything they can to get players to be on a higher level and to play at their potential. And that's all one can do as a coach.

I feel fortunate to have had my son within a program where he could grow as a player but also as a person. I'd recommend GE's Club Teams to anyone who's looking to be part of a positive baseball culture.

SUMMER OF 2012 HIGH SCHOOL 'SHOWCASE' TEAMS
ARE FORMING NOW...

2015 Grads       2014 Grads        2013 Grads       2012 Grads

Players from GE
THE FIRST 18U TEAM,
GOLDEN ERA FIRST TEAM OVER THE SUMMER OF 2005.
20 FUTURE COLLEGE BASEBALL PLAYERS & 3 PLAYERS SELECTED IN THE MAJOR LEAGUE DRAFT

Golden Era Baseball started with one 18 and under Club Team, which took the field over Memorial Day Weekend in 2005 with mainly a group of “unknown” players at the time.

Never did we imagine that the entire line-up of our first game we ever played, plus all those who did not start that game, would end up playing college baseball, to go along with 3 of those players being drafted in the Major League Draft.

From there the tradition grew to where 100% of our High School grads moved on to play college baseball.

Golden Era’s High School Club Teams are designed for players who have the desire, determination, drive and aspirations to move on and play baseball past high school at the college ranks or higher.

Our High School Showcase Teams are proving grounds to be seen and gain exposure with college baseball teams and with Major League Baseball Scouts.

During the summer we play local games as well as compete in some of the most select showcase tournaments in the country.

Examples of some of the high profile tournaments we've attended include:

  • The West Coast 4th of July Firecracker Classic in Orange County
  • The College World Series Showcase tournament in Omaha Nebraska the week of the CWS
  • The BCS Perfect Game Championships
  • The Wood Bat Summer Series in San Diego
  • And for 2012 plans are to attend many of these same top-talented, showcase events.

But the number of games our teams play and the tournaments we attend isn’t the cornerstone of our program. Golden Era’s focus is put on instruction and individual skill development. We pride ourselves in taking players from where they’re currently at as a player and doing our best to help them excel even further.

So what our Program consists of is a competitive Summer Club Team travel schedule as well as highly structured and organized workouts.

We feel it’s the best of both worlds because players get the high profile, top talented showcase tournaments, but also the skill development that every player needs.

OUR PRO-ACTIVE APPROACH

At Golden Era Baseball we pro-actively help our players with their baseball journey, whether that be talking to College Coaches on behalf of the player, or helping players and families understand the ‘process’ of becoming an NCAA student-athlete and the steps that are necessary to achieve that goal.

And it is a process, which most families unless you’ve went through it before don’t understand but we help each step of the way...

THE GOLDEN ERA
COMMITMENT

Golden Era’s commitment and goal for all of our players is simple really, to do our best to help every player within the program begin to reach their potential, to get better…and to help them reach and be more prepared for their next level…both on the field and off the field.

COACHING STAFF

All lead members of Golden Era’s Coaching Staff have played or coached at the college-level or higher. This upper-level experience is something we are happy to be giving back to the younger players of today…

WHAT IS THE COST TO BE PART OF
GOLDEN'S SHOWCASE TEAMS

It could be nothing if you choose to take advantage of the fundraising opportunities we make available to ALL families.

It’s very important to us that we keep costs of receiving top-quality baseball instruction and being part of Club Team Baseball affordable.

So we have put together several fundraisers, which if you choose to be part of could lower your out of pocket expense to potentially nothing to be part of Golden Era’s Club Teams.

We thank you for taking the time to hear about our Program and we wish continued success to everyone…
